Evangelism Ministry

The Evangelism Ministry follows the Great Commission by taking the gospel of Jesus Christ outside the walls of Second Tabernacle to halfway houses, prisons, nursing homes, hospitals and street evangelism. If you have ever had the desire to share the gospel, the harvest for evangelism is plentiful and we can never have too many Laborers.

 

Hospitality Ministry

The Hospitality Ministry is ready to serve our members and visitors in a variety of ways. During weekly services and special events, a host of good-hearted people volunteer as ushers, greeters and hosts giving our members and visitors a warm and friendly experience while serving them in various capacities. Additionally the Hospitality greeters will remain connected with members that are sick or shut-in or simply needing encouragement via social media, emails, letters or cards communicating acts of love on behalf of the Pastor and congregation.

 

Willing Workers Ministry

Willingly and Lovingly assist the Pastor and his family.  They provide prayer, support and resources as needed.

 

Media Ministry

The Media Ministry will work to provide the highest quality media and video production quality for worship services and special events. Display scriptures, notes,  lyrics for worship, announcement slides and play any video or music that has been requested.

 

Social Media Ministry

The Social Media Ministry promotes the gospel and advances our mission on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.

 

 Music Ministry

Our Praise , Worship and Music Ministry (Choirs, Praise team, Men’s Chorus) is responsible for creating an environment where people embrace the presence of God by maintaining a musical ministry of excellence.

 

Praise Dance & Drama Ministry

 Provides a variety of ways in which our members are engaged in praise and worship through the art of dance & drama during worship experiences. Utilizing dance movement and the art of drama as a means of spiritual interpretation that seeks to enhance the worship experience and bring glory to God.

 

Nurses Ministry

 Serve congregants by providing aid and comfort as needed. They also

serve the needs of the Pastor and guest preachers. 

 

Christian Education Ministries

Provides resources and hope in educating God's people in Bible Study, Sunday School, New Members Class, Youth Group, Children's Church, and Vacation Bible School.

 

Deacons Ministry

A group of appointed God fearing Men who encourage, teach and empower  people to exercise Godly wisdom while building, developing and empowering their families through the Word of God. Deacons  serve in the church and community.

 

Trustees Ministry

The Trustee Ministry accepts their roles and responsibilities as good stewards. The trustees are primarily responsible for the secular business affairs of the church, financial concerns, maintaining the building and facilities, tracking church equipment, investments and property. They must use their spiritual gifts in serving God with Him as their Guide. 

 

Deaconess & Mother's Ministry

A group of appointed God fearing Women who encourages, teaches and empowers women to exercise Godly wisdom in building, developing and empowering their families through the Word of God. They serve in our church and community.

 

Culinary Ministry 

The Culinary Ministry works diligently to show its care, compassion and love for others. Anytime we are called upon to serve is an opportunity we graciously accept to show our love for God’s people by serving our members and guests with a well-balanced meal.
